We have been in our house for 8 years and have enjoyed taking care of it and making it our home. One of our favorite things to do on a weekend is spend time as a family out on the deck, listen to music, and let the kids play in the backyard. Backing up to the parkway has never been an issue, even with 3 small children.
This is a quaint neighborhood with no “through” traffic. Both streets in Foxwerth are cul-de-sacs, allowing for kids to ride bikes and safely play out front. If you take a look at the neighborhood you will notice that people are outside tending to their yards and the upkeep of their houses. We have been looking at houses ourselves and this is a rare trait we have found in a neighborhood. People are friendly; looking after one another’s houses when a neighbor goes out of town and getting together for block parties a couple of times a year.
Another quality we have enjoyed about this house and neighborhood is the convenient location. The YMCA is less than a mile away, and grocery stores are close enough that you could walk. The schools are excellent; with high test scores and close in proximity.
We have mixed emotions about selling our house; but with 3 small children, we have just outgrown our home. We hope that you will enjoy this house and neighborhood as much as we have.
